Raising awareness about the state of Foster Care in America
See the Need was created by FaithBridge Foster Care to raise awareness about the state of Foster Care in America. It was clear that there was a need for a way to easily show individuals, and partner churches what the foster care crisis looked like in their community.
By providing how many children are in foster care, how many have been placed with families outside their home counties, and how many additional foster homes are needed in a specific area we can invite new people to support the needs of fragile children and families.
FaithBridge is the largest Georgia-based and Christ-centered child placing agency in the state offering both foster care and adoption from foster care services. They recruit, train, and support foster care families in local churches and license them to provide community-based, short- and long-term traditional and therapeutic care for foster children in Georgia.
FaithBridge Foster Care’s vision is for every foster child and adopted foster child to experience the hope, healing, and unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Their mission is to mobilize, organize, and equip local churches to solve their community’s foster care crisis.
Since 2007, FaithBridge has served nearly 2,000 individual children in foster care through partnering with 97 churches. For more information, please visit www.faithbridgefostercare.org
